564 SMS sites to be destroyed?

Looks like the USAF wants to get rid of what remains of the 564th:

Could someone update this link, it appears to be gone now?

I can't find a newer link of the above posted story, but all 50 LFs from the former 564th MS at Malmstrom AFB, MT and all 50 LFs from the former 400th MS at FE Warren AFB, WY will need to be dismantled/destroyed in such a way that they are unusable to comply with the new START Treaty. I'm not sure if they will implode them the same way they did it at Ellsworth, Grand Forks, and Whiteman or if they will use some other method. I'm sure money will be a factor. Also, I haven't heard what they will do with the MAFs/LCCs from the 564th/400th.

If they dispose of them the way they have in the past they will be sold to the public through GSA.

The real end starts in a few months:

Note that they are filling them up, not destroying them.

The way it worked for the Grand Forks sites, they'll be offered for sale by GSA, but there are restrictions on what you can do with the land. In particular, you are not allowed, by contract, to dig more than I think 18 inches below grade. I don't know what the enforcement of that part of the contract looks like.
