All our maintenance training were typed-not printed on AF or SAC forms .

In the good old days (40 years ago) everything was typed with carbon copies on 8" x 10" paper. Guess at some point someone realized 8 " x 10" had become more expensive than the standard 8.5" x 11".

In the TO anything ERCS said "Wing IV,Squadron III,if applicable."
Funny-in the late 70's there was only 5 in the field,but the last one I worked on had a serial number of 000035- that was a LONG time ago.

494L Payload (AN/DRC-8) payload never even had a trainer. MMT qualified maintenance ( mate/demate/start-up) on the real thing

I may be confused about what you wrote, but I don't ever remember MMT qualifying an EMT team on a missile startup. We did the startups and shutdowns whether it was ERCS or a loaded RV...unless things were different before 1981.
