About when did they lock up the Keys and crackers?

The two officers had then around their neck, at the time I left in 1966.

Sometime before I came on crew in September of '70. At that time we had the center-dial combo locks. I selected a combo that I could remember, and I still do. When we got the 4-dial locks, it wouldn't work, so I made up a new one. Used that on my Whiteman lock, and still remember that one, too.

That was a pretty good video.
I am glad that the Missile Forums is back up and operating. I sincerely hope that it was a glitch, and not due to the health of any of the Forum's members.

The creator if this forum is no longer very active. Apparently his host changed servers and that created the problem. I was able to contact him and he got it back up. There is still the problem that you cannot create new topics. He is aware of this but has limited time to work on the forum.

Thanks for letting us know. I sent him an email as well, and got a ACK. It's good to know what's up.

I got the info from a WHOIS query. I sent a mail to the Admin of Record for the site.

Is there any way for another one of us to take over the administration of the Forums?
Nothing lasts forever, and either will we...there should be a back-up if we users think that this is a worthwhile endeavor. I do....even though I am as close to computer illiterate as one can get.

Something to think about. Good to see all of you alive and well.

I am an administrator as some others are but that just means I have extra capabilities when logging on such as changing certain things, deleting posts or banning people. To fix certain problems you have to have access to the computer where the forum is run from.

The program that runs this forum like most other programs uses either a .ini or .cfg file to run. Since only the forum owner can access or update them, that means we admins can do nothing.

It's a shame that a forum dedicated to the MM weapon system, which was designed with multiple layers of redundancy, runs on a single point of failure.

Just sayin'...

Also, I just tried to post a new item about the F.E. Warren shot, and got another SQL error. Draft loads OK.

That is how it has been since the forum came back up. We just have to hope the owner will have the time and find the problem and correct it.

I just tried a New Topic post--did not work. It appears (sample of one) that old topics can be posted to, so we can discuss what's been discussed.
