Two of my all-time favorite bumper stickers (at least of the ones I can remember at my advanced age)

“Don’t worry--when the Rapture comes I’ll take care of your wife”

“When the Rapture comes can I have your car?”

There was guy selling Rapture insurance a couple of years ago. For an up-front fee he would guarantee to take care of your pets after you’d been lifted to the heavens. He had a list of reliable non-Christians who’d be left behind who would come by and take care of your dog/cat/fish tank. Cheap at twice the price. (I could only wish I’d thought of the idea.)

There were a couple of crew dogs at Minot when I as there who were convinced they’d never have to turn keys--if they were ordered to it would be Armageddon and they’d be bodily transported out of the capsule before they had to execute. I pulled alert with one of them and told him that was fine, but in the event I wanted a key-turn from him before he left.

As we all know, any reason or excuse to leave Minot is considered valid, by crew members. Freezin's the reason. CBPO tends to disagree.

TerrorOfTucson: Being Jewish, I would have to say your observation is spot on. Alternatively, would you be so sure of your salvation sitting in the back of an eggbeater at the moment of the "rapture"? Maybe God thinks the Dymo-Tape quotation was cute...I didn't.

I wasn't expecting The Rapture then, and I'm not now. I do accept variations in other's opinions on it.
